World’s first truly modular floating dock
Heavy duty extruded aluminum frame and foam filled molded floats
Floe’s rigid, heavy duty extruded aluminum frame is the backbone to the floating dock system. It provides a solid, stable base for the walking surface and is supported by foam filled, rotationally molded floats.
The heavy duty outer frame also incorporates a patented track system which allows you to create floating modular dock configurations and add hinges, guide poles and other accessories anywhere along the dock side. An underside track system enables floats and anchoring systems to be attached.
Rugged, long-lasting, foam-filled floats are made of virgin polystyrene resin containing UV inhibitors that are impervious to gas, oil and other chemicals. FLOE floats are filled with polystyrene foam for added strength and reduced water absorption. They are backed by a full 15 Year Limited Warranty.
Quick Release Hinge System
FLOE’S floating boat dock sections include a quick release hinge that easily attaches dock sections together creating endless dock layouts. Simply float the dock sections into place and insert the pins in the hinge.
Anchoring Solutions
FLOE offers an aluminum guide-pole and bracket system to secure and stabilize dock sections in depths up to 10 feet. The guide pole goes through a bracket on the dock with the auger end screwing into the lake bottom. As the water fluctuates, the dock raises and lowers along the guide poles, always ensuring you are high and dry.
Pilings and custom piling loops or a cable and anchor system can be used for floating dock sections in water depths greater than 10 feet.

FLOATING DOCK COMPONENTS
FLOATING DOCKS SAMPLE LAYOUTS
Design any modular dock system you desire. Add dock sections and components as your needs grow or your budget allows. Contact your local FLOE dealer for details on the ideal floating dock layouts or create your own system using FLOE’s Design A Dock program.
FLOE’s modular engineering allows you to simply configure sections and add components where and when you want them, without any welding or drilling. You can get a custom system without the custom cost! Shown here are just a fraction of the commercial and/or residential systems you can create with FLOE’s modular components.
Floating docks do not use a rigid connection to the lake bottom with legs or posts so they will naturally have some give and/or sway as they are walked on. With a straight out floating dock, stability is improved by maximizing the dock width. It is recommended that 6′ or 8′ docks widths are used for straight dock systems. Sundecks or slips will improve stability of a floating dock system if they are connected with the hinge connector perpendicular to the narrow side of the main walkway.
These floating docks are great for:
- Lake Homes
- Marinas
- Resorts
- Campgrounds
- Restaurants
- Condominiums
- Town Houses
- Public or shared access lake lots
DOCK WEIGHTS
FLOATING DOCKS SPECIFICATIONS
Freeboard (dock height above water) is 16″ on docks with 12″ floats. If float upgrades are ordered, the freeboard will increase proportionately.
DECKING CHOICES
Aluminum Dock Decking
FLOE’s most popular decking! Maintenance-free aluminum decking has a long-lasting, baked on, anti-skid surface. The light-grey hue and open, ribbed underside allows air to move freely and cool the dock surface. The aluminum also assists in keeping the deck cool by conducting and transferring the water temperature to the deck.
Additional Decking Options Available
Custom decking options are available for larger residential and commercial applications.
Contact a FLOE dock dealer for more information on these options.
